A slight chuckle...

I took a little cartoon break tonight while doing my homework....I don't know why, but these both were so funny to me! Enjoy....

This is a good one for all you cat haters such as myself.

Sound words of advice!!! HILARIOUS!

What? I'm moving!

Ok, so it turns out not only do I have to move from Apartment 11 to 15, but I guess I am looking for housing elsewhere? Today when I got home from work I logged onto my BYU-Idaho account and email to see what is up, what homework I need to do before school starts, and how much this college thing is going to cost me this semester. I was greeted with about 7 or 8 emails telling me of different housing contracts available around campus and that my ad for housing had been approved for posting... Well if you are still following, good for you, if not you are just as confused as I was at this point.

I remembered that a few days ago I had used my roommates computer to look up some info on my school account, but had not logged out after I was done. After I was done she had proceeded to look for some housing around campus and had posted an ad that she was looking for housing on the west side of campus. She had done all of this under my account not knowing that she was logged in as me, and not as her. So it resulted in me getting various emails of girls offering to sell me their contracts for fall and my very own ad posted on the BYU-I bulletin board. Whooooo!

All of you who know me know that I would be thoroughly entertained by this, and I was. I was laughing so hard and was pleased to find out that so many people are willing to sell me their contracts, although I already have a place to live and have lived here for quite some time. LOVE IT!

This is "My Ad" (actually its Chante's, it just says its mine!)

Gutting a fish...totally under rated!

Last weekend I had the blessed opportunity to take my favorite form of transportation (The Salt Lake Express...AKA Hell on wheels!) home to Utah for a weekend out in the mountainous terrain of the Uintahs. I was more than ready for a break from Rexburg, and the people in Rexburg. I got home to Utah and prepared the trailer for our blessed trip. And let me tell you it takes a lot of work and planning to go out camping, especially when the trailer hasn't been out in about 7 years. (That is about to change though, I hope.)

It was a great trip full of fishing, games, fire, food and plenty of bonding time with the fam. One highlight from the trip was when I caught a whopping 15" fish and I sure was proud! I think that my brothers were jealous, but they weren't the ones gutting the fish. We caught a grand total of 35 fish, but threw most of them back. It was a great trip and I got to do my favorite part of fishing....GUTTING THEM. Most people would think that gutting a fish is the most inhumane and disgusting part of fishing....well ladies and gents, I beg to differ. As morbid and grotesque as this may sound gutting out a fish brings a slight grin (well actually a big grin) to my face. I love fishing, I love camping, but I LOVE gutting out those little aquatic specimen.
