So the other night I sent Amy a text along these lines...
Me: "Guess what I'm wearing..."
Amy: "Your footie pajamas!"
Yup we've still got it. That mental brain wave connection as sisters. There for a while I was worried we might have lost it seeing as there is great distance between us, but nope, I was wrong. We've still got it.
A minor note about pie crusts: Michael and I were driving down the road the other day. I told him that I was thinking about making apple pie that night while he was at work. He then very intellectually replied, "Who will be the master of rolling out the pie crusts for you?" I of course had thought of this and thought that maybe by some small chance, I might be able to do it. Until he asked me this. "Who rolled out the pie crusts for you before I came along?" To which I replied with a pouty lip "Amy :(" I realized I can make great pie crust but I must have someone to roll it out for me. Moral of the story, I can never make pie alone.

The Fresno Wedding...
This last weekend my brother in-law Kevin got married. The wedding was country themed and absolutely adorable. They thought of every detail. It was a delight to be with my Dill side of the family and to spend time with the Bezak women and their families. All in all I'm excited to have another sister in the family, and she was absolutely beautiful. I'm not going to write much but rather post some pictures.... so enjoy!

I just want to be ok.
Ok. So the day started out hunky dory and fine. That's how it was all morning. Work was refreshing and smelt like fall. My cute husband picked me up from work at noon, carried my school bags inside and even had chicken tacos all ready for lunch. The day was lovely. That is until the evils of English class began. I won't go into detail, but let's just say I'm never going to humiliate any of my students in front of the entire class, especially twice in one day. Never.
So, I left English grumpier than the grumpiest bear you know and almost in tears. I know we are told not to let others determine the way we feel, but seriously today I let it and I intentionally let the way some jerky man treated me ruin my afternoon. I couldn't help but me mad at him and think of all the possible emails I could concoct in order to "stick it to him". But the man probably doesn't care he is a jerk and probably has been a jerk his entire life, so I decided an email of anger probably wasn't the best solution. What else could I do? I could drop the class, I could come to class every day 5 minutes late, I could share opposing views to his during class, and the list goes on and on.
But do you know what... that's all just silly and carries no point to it. So, I'm just going to stick it out. I'll sit in class the rest of the semester and listen to all the crap that comes out of his mouth and know the history of every suit he wears, I'll do all my assignments perfectly and won't miss a single day. I'll tolerate him. In the real world I'll probably work with people like him and have to deal with it. So why not practice now? But that doesn't that I'm not looking forward to the teacher evaluation at the end of the semester, all I know is Manberg best be reading it.
Any who the day improved as my cute husband picked me up at the end of the day with two surprises. First, he parked in the mini parking lot, only for teachers, by the Kirkham. And second he made me cover my eyes when I got in the car.... and..... and..... he told me when a person has a bad day they need friends to keep them company. He got me a box of Toy Story fruit snacks so I could have friends while he went to work. Silly, but it made me smile.
Favorite of the night was definitely when this song came on while I was writing history papers... Enjoy!

I miss him...
Tonight I was (and currently still am) sitting at the David O. Mckay Library. I hear they have a new musical mix for when they close up shop, I'm patiently waiting for 11:30 to roll around so I can see if the rumors I've heard in the stacks are true. But while I've been doing so I have had some good old fashioned homework fun. But none of those reasons are the real reasons I began writing this blog post. The real reason is, I miss him.
I miss my little buddy Adam. I miss sending him funny texts about people with mullets and him sending me his favorite youtube video of the day to watch. (not kidding, I got one pretty much daily.) I miss his sense of humor being so readily accessible. I mean his letters and emails home are pretty Adamish, but there's something about having the real thing that's just different.
I know he is out being an awesome missionary and anyone who happens to cross his path is more than blessed. The kid has an amazing testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and he lives it and wants others to live it. For example, he even counseled Michael and I that we should be going to the temple together weekly. There's no way I can't listen to the kid, so Michael and I have been dutifully obeying him. What a wise kid. The temple has done nothing but improve our relationship and given us time away from the craziness of school and work. Somehow I continue to miraculously get everything done I want to and need to. Adam's right, the temple is the place to be. So, we listen to his missionary counsel.
While I miss him something fierce the mission can have him for the next little bit. I'm glad he is where he is supposed to be, and feel blessed to have my cute little bro out serving the Lord. Oh and did I mention I would love to see his companions reaction to his over done foot sanitation?

No Internet.....
Today the school's internet was having some real issues. First off, this silly little texting between Michael and I while he was in class is kinda funny.
I asked him "Is your internet working?"
He replied "Yea."
I said "Something weird is up with mine, and I need to print. It won't let me."
His reply "Ok, email it to me and I'll print it for you."
Before I could even read his text he was out of his class next to me and said "Disregard that last text."
Second off the school sent out an email to tell everyone it wasn't working. Well if the internet isn't working how would I check my email to find out. Kinda funny. Oh the joys of technology.

Just what the Dr. ordered....
This is just exactly what I needed to hear.... I don't know what Dr. prescribed it, but I think it may have been Jiminy Cricket.
